Seamless Mixed Reality: A unique concept that merges physical and virtual realities. The drone is perceived as a physical object within the room, capable of seamlessly moving between the user's environment and virtual spaces.
Technical Maturity: Over two years of active development using Meta’s developer tools. The project is fully optimized for Quest 3 (SDK v85) and effectively leverages the latest Scene API capabilities.
Intelligent Environment: The drone "understands" interior geometry (tables, walls, furniture, windows, and doors), enabling realistic interactions and flight paths. The presence of the player’s avatar within the MR scene further enhances immersion.
FPV & Multi-View Modes: Users can monitor the flight in their physical space, via a virtual in-world monitor, or through a virtual FPV headset for full first-person immersion. The drone can also fly beyond the physical room into five distinct virtual locations.
Gameplay and Physics: The experience features a dedicated delivery mission system and direct physical interaction—users can catch, carry, and launch the drone directly from their hand. The flight model, based on PID controllers, supports three modes: Self-Leveling, Altitude Hold, and Acro Mode.
Professional PID Tuning: Implementation of an in-game interface for detailed PID adjustment, allowing users to fine-tune flight dynamics to match their personal piloting style.
Universal Input Manager: Development of a calibration system supporting professional RC transmitters and external gamepads, including full axis and button mapping.
High-Fidelity Upgrade: Enhancing visual and audio assets to flagship industry standards, including adaptive sound design and high-detail environment models.
